Webcam Passions

I joined this group because I really enjoy video arts. I would like to know more about all kinds of technical media. I am trying to put together music a theater multi-media troupe, and I will definately need some assistence from someone who knows something about all, or any kinds of digital cameras. I have a web cam which works ok, but, I can never figure out how to keep it working properly, in order to really get anything done, as far as that's concerned. I like my web cam, but, now that I have a firewall I can never get the cam to work, with that in place, and, every time I end up turning off the firewall to use the cam, my computer ends up getting some annoying virus. Suffice to say I need all kinds of involvement, and technical assistance. I know there are some really adorable, sweet guys out there who have a lot of brains, who could offer me some really fabulous help, and who might even want to be actors, or play music or something.Also, I think it's a really good way of getting to know people, and interact with them, even though you may live far apart.
